This policy explains the small amount of information Thrive SA stores on your device, what each item is for, and how to remove it.

1. What we use

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third-party advertising networks to track you on this site.

NameTypePurposeLasts
tk_vidCookie (first-party)A random visitor identifier. Lets you continue a part-finished Thrive Check, stops the same person being counted or contacted twice, and lets us measure how the service performs. It contains no name, number or email.Up to 12 months
anl_sidSession storageA random identifier for this browsing session, used to join up the steps of one visit.Until you close the tab
Analysis link (?token=)Address bar / your emailThe private link to your own order and report. It is a credential — do not share it.While the order exists

Our hosting and security providers may also set strictly necessary cookies to keep the service available and to protect it from abuse.

2. Why we do not ask you to accept cookies

The two items above are strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for and to keep our own basic usage statistics. They do not build an advertising profile of you and they are not shared with advertising networks, so no consent banner is required. Marketing messages are a separate matter and are sent only if you tick the optional marketing box — see our Privacy Policy.

3. Turning them off

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. If you block tk_vid:

Clearing your browser data removes both items immediately.

4. Do Not Track

Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for responding to them, so we do not act on them. We limit ourselves to the strictly necessary items listed above regardless of the signal.

5. Changes and contact

If we add anything that stores information on your device we will update this page, and we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it. Questions: privacy@thrivesa.co.za.
